      @Tim_Eagon In Germany, they changed the rules from 25 to 30 years a while back.
      Otherwise I could get the plate on my Golf 4 now. 😕

          At least when I saw it on a reaction video, talking about the old timey cars from the 80's.... it was the 80s. Still hurt, but that's better than the 90s.

            @yora I don't even know the rules here anymore, but it was a 30+ year old car. I had a similar surprise about 15 years ago when I saw a car from the early 80s with collector plates.

              @SJohnRoss Hand crank those windows! I never wanted a hand crank more badly then when the window motor in one of my cars burnt out - did I mention that car had no AC?

                @Da_Gut @SJohnRoss It was like today when I was at a combination coffee house/liquor store (yes, we have those here), and the sign said that you have to be born on this date in 2004 or earlier to purchase alcohol.
