Recent events in my life made me remember that the reason I became a journalist was to find out new things, not post incessantly and see follower numbers on an increasing number of websites grow.
Right now I'm able to post to Mastodon, BlueSky, and create a custom post on Wordpress referencing the video upload.
I was thinking YouTube and Instagram next, but I'm open to suggestion.

It's interesting. I guess I always post manually for fear a script would break the context of each platform's audience.
YouTube would be good.
Do you outpost on some? Cut them short and link to your more authentic self platform?

@doctormo I've heard that a few times, and I absolutely agree with it in terms of microblogging/text posts.
But uploading short form videos can take time and the accompanying text often seems like an afterthought. I also don't know if links to articles need a sell beyond the headline. I built a bot to autopost Unrigged articles to BlueSky and I saw the follower count jump to 4000+ over a few months.
Outposting is a really good idea. I'd like to bring people somewhere central when I can.
