I’ll admit to being a little peeved with some of the hospital staff. Took a disabled relative to the hospital. It’s really hard for them to walk.
Get an order for the blood test on the other side of the hospital. Get there. System down. Refusal to do anything without a paper order. Won’t call their other department, won’t do anything. They’re literally standing around waiting for people with papers.
The hero of that staff was the receptionist at the other side of the hospital. She was willing to print me an order without my relative there when I walked down there myself to find the order. I’m guessing she shouldn’t have done that, but whatever. It was kindness.
Without that, an 80 year old with a bad foot and too much pride to use a chair would have had to hump it across the hospital. It was a good thing I insisted going with them.
