Am I the only person who hates that the worth of an RPG is often considered improved by a higher page count?
I really prefer brevity and lower page counts in RPG products. I want to spend more time playing my RPG and less time reading about it.
Smaller books are easier to reference at the table and I just think that's better.

@jeffwmoore Both can be true though, right? Brevity in core rules is good and more material gives you more value?
I am sitting right now next to 4 books for Vampire. I have more on the bookshelf. I bought all of them because I wanted more stuff for the game.

@jeffwmoore I’m pretty sure that was my post, I just commented on the book’s thickness because I wasn’t expecting that (the KS was several years ago and I forgot most of the details), it wasn’t a comment on quality.
