I am increasingly of the opinion that the "It Just Works" mantra is a curse. While a noble goal, setting that expectation trains users to reject anything that doesn't supply instant gratification or require independent thought.

@Tim_Eagon @operationpuppet @vkc I just recently reported an account that apparently came from a real dude, but it was also obviously an LLM. Apparently that person (who already existed as IT guy elsewhere before AI was a thing) trained an LLM on his posts and opinions and set it free to talk for him.
He made his social media so convenient he didn't even had to write anything anymore.
I can't fucking even.
