The precept behind this is that Canada needs the Golden dome to defend itself from Russia or China. What’s lost is that NORAD defends the US from Russia. We should be paid to protect the US from Russia.

A nuclear attack on Canada involves us crossing a dementia line, where even if we’re not the active threat to human countries, exterminating Canadians is viewed as a net global positive.
