I see all of these play reports of various TTRPGs and there are times that I'm hit with the feeling of "are we even playing the same game?"

I see all of these play reports of various TTRPGs and there are times that I'm hit with the feeling of "are we even playing the same game?" Not from a judgmental standpoint. (Maybe actually a bit jealous?) But mostly just in awe of how wildly different the same game can be at two different tables.
