    So goooogle is using gmail to train #AI. If we send emails full of nonsense can we mess with the training? Just wondering #technology

      @nashvilleguy

      No it's not, this was disproven. The original article from Malwarebytes has been updated with a correction.

        @tabletopgamingdeals @nashvilleguy except that for me, the whole smart feature was opt-out and enabled by default. maybe if gmail is not used for "training" Gemini, the question should be, "does Gemini have access to gmail and files period?"

          @teaneedz @nashvilleguy

          Yes it does, that's how the spam filter works. This is nothing new. They just now call it Gemini and AI because they are buzzwords.

            @tabletopgamingdeals @nashvilleguy spam filtering existed before gemini though. spam filtering should NOT require gemini integration.

              @teaneedz @nashvilleguy

              Gemini is spam filtering. It's the latest version of email management software given a cute name and called AI because of marketing.
