Finally watched Sinners. It was really interesting to see it a few nights after I watched From Dusk Til Dawn for the first time, because while there are important, key differences, there's also a lot of the same beats happening, but I loved Sinners. Context and framing are so important.

I am two days behind on my #31DaysOfHalloween viewing, because it took my brain a few days to process that it's October now.@Tim_Eagon The Phantasm series kind of reminds me of Hellraiser, not because of content, exactly, but because it was a series with its own weird mythology doing its own thing that didn't look like the rest of the genre around it. Which is not to say there weren't standard horror tropes, but how many horror movies were doing extra-dimensional morticians with chrome murder balls?

Every Halloween I try to find 31 horror movies I haven't seen yet and watch them. This year I'm going to start by filling in my Phantasm deficit. I've seen the first one, but none of the sequels.
If you haven't see my posts for Halloween, I'm not editing what I'm viewing by good movies. Don't try to save me. Its already too late.

Every time I start thinking about posting to social media again on a regular basis, I kind of feel like Punxsutawney Phil.@tabletopgamingdeals You are correct, but once in a while my urge to post how much I love RPGs overrides my common sense.
