Today, I went there without an appointment to get a Real ID compliant driver's license, and despite the crush of people who waited to the last minute to get one (like me), I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes.

@Tim_Eagon Here in Missouri the DMV basically sells out the right to run the individual offices to private businesses. So we end up with a lot of really shitty ran ones and a few gems done by people who actually care.
Also we have a problem that whenever someone loses their bid to run an office the new people never go in the same place. So we deal with constantly changing DMV offices as well.
