Ugh, my daughter's futsal game is at 8pm tonight, and it's like 1 degree Fahrenheit right now (wind chill around -14). I'm kind of glad that the new car has heated seats.

In the 1980s and 1990s it seemed like I encountered someone who needed their automobile jump-started about 4-5 times per year.@intrepidhero @valthonis I think battery technology has improved also.

I don't get all of these local news articles talking about how everyone is surprised by their properly taxes increasing because of last year's MMSD referendums (sounds like local reporters scrubbing Reddit for a whiff of controversy).I don't get all of these local news articles talking about how everyone is surprised by their properly taxes increasing because of last year's MMSD referendums (sounds like local reporters scrubbing Reddit for a whiff of controversy). They passed overwhelmingly. They were well publicized. You shouldn't be surprised. I looked at mine and it's like $60-70 more per month. My property taxes increased more over the years from market activity.

New car bought!@PetterOfCats Thanks! It's great to get it out of the way finally and stop dealing with insurance companies. All that's left is to update my policies and wait for my deductible to get paid back to me from the other driver's insurance company.

I think this supplement is a must have for any Mothership fans!@vincew Given the genre it's trying emulate, going crazy or getting horribly killed is just part and parcel of this particular game (sort of a less genteel Call of Cthulhu). I know it's possible, but a long term campaign with characters who actually survive the whole thing would seem to be a relative rarity.
