It’s easy to read emotion into something even if it’s meant to be neutral. I try to remember that becaue I’m guilty of getting annoyed at text for no reason, too. I made my communities when I saw rules on other major news coms that inadvertently excluded good journalism but allowed for bigger, less reputatable publications to be posted. I wanted to see more, different, international news and less corporate controlled media. I don’t want to make, but would follow a com dedicated to least biased news sources.

Track AIPAC is a grassroots effort to reveal and counter the influence of AIPAC and the Israel lobby by systematically documenting their financial contributions to our federal officials. We support candidates who refuse support from the Israel lobby and champion a foreign policy based on human rights and international law. We are working to end AIPAC and the Israel lobby’s stranglehold on American Democracy, as well as big money in politics as a whole. We call for AIPAC and other associated foreign lobbying groups to be forced to register with the Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and we call on Congress to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. no cmon i have an understanding of this to begin with. as marx said, his socialism idea was his stepping stone idea to his communism idea. they were basically the same thing as each other, except, one had currency and was meant to be the first step away from capitalism (a reorganization of the type of government without yet getting rid of currency), and the second was meant to be that same type of government, but now with currency totally removed, as a second step (his ultimate goal; a currency-less system]

Same here and it really upset me switching. I had used sync for a very long time on Reddit and was thrilled with the announcement it was coming to lemmy I know the dev was renowned for disappearing but the lemmy app launch left a bad taste. I’m glad I didn’t put any money into that app but I truly hope he’s ok. I know he’s had to take breaks from development for mental health reasons Summit was the closest I found to what I was familiar with. There’s only a couple small things I wish were different but overall it’s been great
