Honestly, the original price they announced ~US$40K) is still way too high for what seems to be a vehicle that is slapped together. It feels like the production line looks like that episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy and Ethel are working the line at a chocolate factory.

This seems pertinent to the situation. Then again, it always seems pertinent, at least to me.
