Fossil Gas, nothing natural about it.

Former chemical engineer in the coal industry, urging B.C. municipalities to change the term natural gas to "fossil gas" - Lemmy.World

“The term natural gas does not explicitly convey the fossil origins of such gas, leading to potential misunderstandings and hampering policy-making,”

Fossil gas is better term agreed and everyone should switch to using that over natural gas.

But calling fossils unnatural is not right, maybe extraction of fossil gas unnatural sure, but the gas itself, I don’t know rubs me the wrong way.
