The City of Ottawa is still planning to fly the Stars and Stripes on Independence Day this Friday, regardless of trade tensions between the United States and Canada.

There’s protocol to being economically attacked, that somehow involves the capital city raising the flag of the attacking country??

So does that mean the Canadian flag was waving in Washington on Canada Day? 🇨🇦

Which is traditionally a sign of distress . . . Maybe not entirely inappropriate, at that.

So sad to see Carney and the Brit’s (and seemingly more) bend the knee to the the convicted orange rapist and felon. Makes me ill.

The American government is openly hostile to our country. We can piss on, burn, or use their flag to dry our dogs. But don’t fly it.

“trade tensions”?! The US is quite literally the biggest threat to Canada right now and they’re calling it “trade tensions”! Grow some balls and stop playing nice for fuck’s sake.

We need time to re-arm before our rhetoric goes that way. Carney has to play it cool like he has been doing.
