            Left is difficult because you have to hold your breath while picking the lock, right is difficult to get to the ledge… tough call

                There must be a way to make it work mechanically (even if it’s a lever on a pulley on a screw on a wedge).

                And if not, there must be a way to make it work magically.

                    There are much meaner variations of this.

                    Make the right area split into two, such that as it fills with water, the players are forced into the section that DOESN’T have the ladder.
