I think they all get it… its probably that rail dust everyone was complaining about. The surface dust rusts with water. Idk about citrisuf, but i ended up having to bar keepers my whole truck. It was a pain in the ass, but it didnt come back after I did it once to remove all of it. Also it looked great after I was done.

I would not want to have to treat my truck like a cast iron pan

I was just about to post that quote. Love the idea of having to scrub the entire car with bar keepers friend. Good lord.

Ugh I actually just fucked up my seasoning and I need to scrub it down and restart

I used the wrong scrubbing pad and yeah…

ETA: I would not run my cast iron through the car wash

Anyone buying this Nazi built piece of shit deserves every second of the pain and agony they receive. Zero sympathy.

That one got me. The thought of being this putz, scrubbing down an entire stainless steel car with BKF like it’s a pressure cooker pot or something 😂

Tetanus doesn’t require rust, I learned.

                  doesn’t require

true, but is common for rusty items to be sharp, allowing the bacteria Clostridium tetani to enter the skin. but it is all over the place.

Maybe or it’s genuinely brake pad dust.

I just finished fixing up rock chip damage and dealing with the beginnings of rust on my base model gravel blasted high mileage 2011 Nissan and noticed the rusty iron deposits on plastic body panels sitting on top of the paint quite a lot. Especially downwind of wheel wells or metal areas that get sandblasted by vehicles ahead of me on the highway.

I pressure washed the truck but I used ph balanced car shampoo

Oh fuck me he has to be joking. Meanwhile, my 2004 F150 sits in the driveway, in Florida UV and humidity, no problem. I do jack shit to maintain it, only what I have to, works fine, no rust.

To stop steel from rusting, you should rub cut onion on it. However , if you see a Cybertruck owner doing that and they’re crying, it’s not because they were cutting onions.
