Well, the Blue Jays didn’t sweep last night. It was a pretty disappointing game all around other than the 6 runs scored: many fielding misplays, Shane didn’t have it and couldn’t put guys away up 6-1 in the 3rd, and our bullpen got hit hard too.

Jays enter tonight’s game up 2-1 in the series. They need 1 more win to advance, while the Yankees need two wins to advance.

How are you feeling? What’s your prediction on the series at this point? How do you think the Jays will deploy their pitching? Will we see either Gausman or Yesavage tonight on reduced rest?

Would be HUGE if Lauer could post a few zeroes on the scoreboard 😍

Another leadoff hit! Can we squeak out 1 run? 😛

Runs are coming slowly so far tonight - unlike the other games of this series. It’s on both sides though. Hopefully the Jays can stay head or, even better, increase the lead. Our RISP has been trending downward across games of the series so far

You aren’t going to see Gausman or Yesavage, you are going to see a bullpen game tonight.

I don’t think it was so much the bullpen that lost them the game last night, as it was the several fielding misplays that did them in. It looked like there was some pretty weird winds going on there last night, I don’t think that was helping anything. Also if you thought they were going to go into New York and do what they did on the weekend, you were kidding yourself.

I think we are in for a barn burner of a game tonight. I’m still pretty confident about our prospects, I think it’s going to be done tonight, but I’m betting on it being a close game for the large part. At the same time, this also might be where the bullpen tear through on the weekend rears it’s ugly head for the Yankees.

Well that one went pretty much as I expected! LETS GOO!! I keep having flashbacks to the 90s, and that little 10 year old boy inside me is SO fired up

I’d be pretty excited for a Jays Tigers series next.

So, I’m a filthy casual (this was the first game I’ve watched the entirety of on tv) so while I was happy about the win, I kept grinning when I thought about how stoked you must be.

Anyway, hope you’re still enjoying that “we won!” Post glow!
