'Queen of Canada' arrested on livestream after RCMP deploy to village where cult has lived for 2 years

Did you seriously just jump to implying the previous poster should push for her execution?
Oh dear, you’re a loony, lol.
No, I used hyperbole to point out how extreme their wish for them to “rot” away for life is.
I abhor the death penalty.

So Canadians are the same as Americans in that they get their jollies off with prison for punishment not rehabilitation?
You are deliberately choosing a calculated, malicious interpretation of a single wors in my off-the-cuff comment.
Jail in Canada exists (legally) for rehab. I have no faith whatsoever that Didulo can be rehabilitated, but as long as she is allowed access to the public, she will be a danger to them and to Canada.
So she has to be locked up, and we need to make a good-faith attempt to help her rehab.
But personally, I just want her stopped and kept away from people, because she’s a danger.

How do you propose to rehabilitate a delusional narcissist/grifter?
-
Let her prove that from behind bars while paying restitution.
Good luck getting her to pay restitution.
-
If we got the Greyhound Bus decapitator back on their meds, stable and productive maybe she has a chance to turn around.
Fair point. Mind you, he was schizophrenic. I suspect that Didulo’s only mental illnesses are greed and psychopathy.

Good one mate, can tell you workshopped that hard.
No I’m just a leftist who actually upholds his ethics around incarceration despite how much I may dislike the perpetrator.
No, you’re a sanctimonious prick who feels superior to everyone else.

Seriously pull your fucking head out of your ass and stop making wild leaps of fucking logic then.

Sask. RCMP raid 'Queen of Canada' cult compound, arrest 16 adults | CBC News
For the past two years a former school in the Richmound, Sask., has been the home of Romana Didulo and her followers.
CBC (www.cbc.ca)
*In July, the village office closed its doors to the public outside pre-arranged appointments, citing harassment and intimidation toward staff.
The owner of the property and one of Didulo’s followers Rick Manz was charged with assault, resisting arrest and uttering threats.>*
I bet the residents of the village are relieved to see the last of her. Hopefully her cult members will start to disperse soon.

And? She can remain under court ordered garnishment of wages until it is paid back, if she is ever free again.

I don’t know, I’m not an expert in that field.
I also advocate for climate action without knowing the solution to climate change. It’s horrible how I am for things without being a professional in them, eh?

Our criminal code has written into it that prison exists for rehabilitation. Whether the average citizen understands, apprecistes or respects that is another story.
Neat. Ours says it’s nice-and-legal slavery.
I prefer yours.

Ah there’s some freaks that will keep throwing money at her for a while. We could get a bit.

Yup. Many don’t know prison labour is a thing in canadian prisons either. Who builds the office furniture for the public service? Oh yeah, it’s Corcan!
Canadians love the boot, too.

I’m sure there is a federal prison she can take up permanent residence in.
Or a mental health facility. She has some pretty serious delusions going on in her head.
I don’t believe she has any mental health issues. She tried and failed multiple business and finally realized there was gold in them thar Facebook groups and it’s been a grift ever since. She wasn’t stupid enough to try and seize police in Peterborough, but her fuckwads were. It’s just criminal fraud. I think she would have made a great Realtor on Duty.

I hope her followers can get help now.

Just block the troll and move on with your life.
There’s no need to sit and meticulously explain something to someone who does not want to receive information.

You think she has wages? Oh, you sweet summer child.

Psychopaths are pretty much incurable, you know.

Rehabilitating her victims is an obvious. To the point of being offensive to be forced to explain it. Priority.
