      The complaint itself is disheartening, but isn’t necessarily about it being an indigenous flag; if the strata has a rule against hanging flags from balconies, it could just be that the strata didn’t know about the flag law, and someone didn’t like it in general (and would have complained no matter what flag it was).

      Personally, I think it would be great to give this particular flag the same protections as a civic flag.

              I think they made that part up…

              I could see someone challenging the flag because of design, but then I would just put up an obnoxiously large official Canadian flag. Lol.
