The explanation is money. Now let’s stop this shit. Time to get organized. Start or join a protest group. Let’s not wait until it’s too late like south of us.

Listen, Canadians, you don’t need those tariffs-shmariffs. Just stop buying US shit. That’s it. No matter if that is alcohol or software. Stop buying it. And tariffs become just a stupid number for stupid Trump to drool upon.

Canada is just calling the US’s bluff, because it’s not actually about the DST. Now Canada has proof they’re negotiating in good faith with an admin that couldn’t care less about honouring deals.

PP didn’t seem like a good choice to me. And there was no way any other party had a shot.

Because we’re always told they don’t have a shot.

But, let’s just say, as of today, nobody votes liberal again. It would likely be the party that also gave use universal healthcare to at least take a minority.

            No more vote splitting.

The only party that is remotely aligned with the people is the NDP. (And some greens.)

Y’all are remembering that it’s us Canadians that will be paying this tax, right? It’s not going to affect any company’s bottom line in the slightest.

Since you said something similar in response to a different post, I’ll give a similar response to the one I did there:

I have my doubts that Canadian companies would have all increased their google/facebook ad budgets over this.

Anyway if it didn’t matter to those companies then why were they so opposed to it

If nobody votes for the party that actually represents their interests, then shockingly the party that represents their interests will not have a shot. It’s a self-defeating strategy.

“Strategic” voting is a long term recipe for a US-style system where there’s only room for two parties.
