      Article casts doubt that the vehicle was actually in self driving mode and says the user should have intervened. IDK, but once you relax and just let the car do its thing, you stop being an active driver. The driver may not have realized what was happening until it was too late

        Article casts doubt that the vehicle was actually in self driving mode and says the user should have intervened. IDK, but once you relax and just let the car do its thing, you stop being an active driver. The driver may not have realized what was happening until it was too late

        Driver assistance systems should never be called “Self Driving”. The only electric or hybrid vehicle that could even remotely considered “Self-Driving” is a Train, Tram or Bus, and even then, they all atill have drivers.

          I was going to go on about the person who won the lawsuit for making coffee with the cruise control set in their motor home, but that is apparently a myth according to snopes.
