It’s up to us, since it seems more and more every day that Carney really can’t be trusted. Either outright avoid US online services or do NO financial transactions and block all ads.

*edit - Also, I wonder how long it will take Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” to properly bankrupt the US? I hope the US people can do something about him for their own sake, and ours.

This is exactly what people voted for. People hate trump so much that they let their emotions cast their votes, Conservatives aren’t much better but we would’ve likely seen a different change of approach on how things are ran.

NDP was suppose to be the in-between of Liberal and Conservative however, they’re far more Liberal than Conservative so it makes sense that their party isn’t crazy popular.

I don’t think you follow Canadian politics very closely.

Because the suffering as a vassal state would be so much worse.

It’s a 3% tax on tech companies. Carney did not agree to be a vassal state. He cancelled a would be tax that Trudeau said would take effect today in an attempt to sign a trade deal with the US, something the US agreed to negotiate before end of July. If there’s no deal by then he could always move forward with the tax.

You’re right. Poilievre would’ve agreed to Trump’s demands immediately to make them all richer and fuck the rest of us. Carney isn’t good, but the Cons would’ve been much worse. Don’t pull the same old “but Kamala” bullshit argument in here.
