One weird side effect of PC gaming is stumbling across old favourites that secretly had console releases—only I never knew until I looked them up on MobyGames.

Take Rogue Trooper, for example. I own both the original and the Redux versions on PC.

Then I found out it was released on the Wii. Which blew my mind, because back in the day I was on top of every single Wii release. I never once saw a physical copy.

Turns out that’s because it only came out in Europe—not North America. Same story with the PS2 and Xbox versions.

Great game, though. Plays beautifully on Steam Deck.
