Why aren't I an online multiplayer gamer?

Because I don't know anyone who does it. As it is, I have a hard enough time getting anyone to join Steam.

The only way I can convince anyone to do multiplayer with me is to ask them to join me at an arcade.

Which, to be sure, I'd rather do that anyway because arcades are simply more personal than voice chat.
