Brighton on Hove, have rather nicely (and I presume for gamers, why else?) put a little history of the Church of St Nicholas up on their community website. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, the Ancient parish church of Brighthelmstone (for it is he..) has been updated a few times, but is a good basic church for a Ravenloft game or a village church for a "do you think everyone in this village is controlled by Orlac from Blakes 7 game"

Actually it gets better. Built on an old druidical enclosure? Just adds to the "Why do the gravestones go to church?" reasoning.

"Oh we've been going to worship here since the meaties buiit their church out of the Uncle Petros. Forgive and forget I say"

I intentionally made it Orlac, for the same reason everyone from Derry calls Daleks "Darleks"

                    I know not why

But you can make "I used to be a knife thrower" references from Hands of Orlac now too.

@Printdevil @BaronessWinter They'd be up on blocks and covered in graffiti before they knew what was happening.
