You may be wondering what I'm doing up at 12:45 am local time.
I started feeling flu -like symptoms at 5 pm with achy joints and shivering, just absolutely freezing even though it's 67F/19.4C in the house. We went to bed at 7 pm and I was shivering so much I couldn't stop clacking my teeth. Of course, this is on top of my mind racing and a possible manic or anxiety issue. Hubby brought up 2 hot water bottles and put 2 additional blankets on me and still I was shivering.
I fell asleep at some point and woke up at 11:30 pm blazing hot! I had to get the blankets off me and drink a bunch of room temperature water. At 12:30 am, I finally came downstairs to take my temperature. It's 100.7F/41.94C. I took some acetaminophen/paracetamol just now and am drinking some cold water.
My mom and mother-in-law are both asleep, can any mom out there tell me what I need to do tonight before I can go to urgent care in the morning?

@somcak You've received good advice here. I would add that if you notice significantly reduced (or no) urination, you should get checked out. It's uncommon, but sepsis symptoms begin very similarly to flu, and this is one symptom that helps differentiate between the two.
(You probably have the flu or another virus and this will not apply. Stay hydrated and keep using acetaminophen for the fever)
I hope you feel much better very soon.
