@tabcreations.com The Mythic GM Emulator builds that into the mechanics. You keep a list of NPCs and a list of open threads, and sometimes an interrupt roll will bring back a person or a goal you haven't thought about in a while. I've found it's a useful concept for any RPG.

@jendefer @tabcreations.com I might start trying to use GME at my actual table. It's got some great ideas for campaign organization now that you mention it!
