      @ielenia@ck.catwithaclari.net the language of geography is messy and is driven by history more than modern politics. Some of it is colonial, but all languages do this to some degree.

      Because you know, sometimes the locals name things that are pretty hard for foreigners to say or the interpreter at the time was dogshit so we just have to get over it.
