Here's my all time favorite monster from the 1st Edition Fiend Folio.
What's your favorite monster from any RPG?
@deidungeon one of the very first adventure paths featured these guys very strongly. I really canβt remember whether the adventure path was for D&D or Pathfinder.
Was it called age of worms or some such?

@Da_Gut @deidungeon Yep, Age of Worms featured Kyuss and his many, many undead creations. It was D&D 3.5e

@deidungeon One of the monster books I first read was the AD&D MM2, which now features several of my personal favorites like the duergar and hordlings.

@Tim_Eagon @Da_Gut I think they have endured through all editions, but apparently aren't so scary in 5e.
