@Taskerland I think lots of people are, but not in a critical mass of knowing how to do it, or making it work, so it falls back to individuals thinking "I'd contribute to that" but there not being a "that"

Back in the 80s we all contributed to fanzines and APAs and got over ourselves.

@Printdevil I suspect that people don't want to have to spend years learning graphic design and then give all of their money to some cartoonish fantasy artist with 5000 followers on bluesky.

@Taskerland Actually my mate Peter does pro-zine level fanzines and would probably be very happy if someone wanted to do a gaming one, I've just never asked him, as it might involve work for me and I'm lazy.

          Sector 13 (fanzine)

Sector 13 is a fanzine based on the worlds of Judge Dredd and other 2000AD characters, edited by Peter Duncan, Laurence McKenna and Simon McKnight (in the guide of Tharg's cousin Fitztharg). It grew out of the Sector House 13 fan group that met in the Parlour Bar in Belfast. The first issue was...

But he's got all the production and design layouts down now, and printing costs and done all the sort of "background figurings" worked out.

If someone actually decided it was worth the effort to do a fanzine, he'd be the chap the contact.
