I play a paladin of Helm (god of guarding, defence, vigilance) in #DnD, and sometimes the party does something he disapproves of. Most of the group enjoy roleplaying convincing the paladin to go along with it, but one player seems to freeze or not know what to do. He seems to be able to communicate with NPCs but struggles with PC-PC roleplay.
Any suggestions to help him join in? For one, I might say if he can't think what to say he could just ask someone else to talk to my character.

@trantion In this situation, it's worth asking why the paladin disapproves of the actions. Are they merely acts of subterfuge, or are innocents getting hurt? That changes the dynamic of the interaction significantly.
