I finally got a chance to listen to the entirety of Geese's new album Getting Killed (I had previously heard some of the singles, especially "Taxes"), and while it's good, I just do not get the online hype - it is nowhere near AOTY territory IMO.

I finally got a chance to listen to the entirety of Geese's new album Getting Killed (I had previously heard some of the singles, especially "Taxes"), and while it's good, I just do not get the online hype - it is nowhere near AOTY territory IMO. Everything was fine, but I've heard all of what Geese did on this album before and better. The 2nd half of the album is stronger than the opening, with the stand out tracks being "100 Horses," "Au Pays du Cocaine," and "Bow Down."
