Which absolutely gets annoying. Like if you're missing out on that interpersonal stuff, you're missing out on how the successful movements got stuff done.

Like, as a straight guy, it's a personal encounter as a kid with someone who was shut out by homophobic family as their partner died that solidified that "how would I feel" for me when discussions happened later
