    @bit me too. 🥲

That's what inspired this one, btw: https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1117/the-ram-nightmare-how-i-lost-my-sanity-and-almost-my-deadline

@davidrevoy @bit, hah. Been there twice, done that twice… and the third time, the cause of the random crashes was an old, sufficiently degraded PSU.

I think that it's safe to say that you will run memtest much sooner next time.

(Incidentally, I have a terminal window in which I'm running “dmesg -Tw”. It's occasionally VERY useful.)

@davidrevoy The demand is going to skyrocket any day now. That's why it's so crucial that they stop producing consumer-oriented magic stones altogether to free up resources.

Not sure if I'll include this new Krita brush I created specifically for this episode in my upcoming brush pack, but it's fun to play with 😅🖌️🦜🦜🦜

While I'm here, check out the timelapse: https://www.peppercarrot.com/0_sources/miniFantasyTheater/making-of/040.mp4 This time, I took a more traditional approach: sketch, inking, painting the background, and then characters. Along the way, I think I found a good preset for inking.

@davidrevoy this is a bad analogy, the datacenters these companies are hoarding all of this RAM for haven't even been built yet (and for that matter, I don't think the RAM has even been produced, either)
At least the Avian Intelligences are already actually made, even if they're going to just end up a total waste

@davidrevoy “All of them are already sold. Plus, all of the future stones scheduled for the next years are currently sold out, too.”

But they've been paid for with gold that doesn't exist yet, linked to cauldrons that haven't been built yet, to solve problems that no one has created the spell for.

@davidrevoy Well, if a magic stone used to be worth 40! gold coins, at 600 gold coins they are now much cheaper…

(Sorry! I’ll see myself out. 😅)

@jdoe @Minski @davidrevoy Uh? No, no. My Avian Inteligence tells me that more profitable than that is selling bananas. When asking it to detail it a little bit more, it also says something about cat litter to be the next most profitable thing.

Your Avian Intelligences should learn from mine.
