Yeah, no shit. It was only sold through Steam. Never hit Amazon new, never showed up at Best Buy.
Valve didn’t market it. At least, not really.
And it’s not just competing with the Ally, Legion Go, and Claw—it’s competing with every laptop and desktop on Earth.
But here’s the part people miss: Steam Deck sales don’t matter. This isn’t a console. It’s a form factor. Whether it sells 5 million or 50 million doesn’t change how many PC games get made.
What matters is that PC games are now portable. That’s the shift. That’s the win. -
