Mike Krahulik once ran a game on stage at PAX where he unveiled envelopes which represented locked chests. He then told the group there was another set of envelopes, each of which cost $5 for any party member.

I made all my campaigns the same way I wrote design docs for games I wanted to make. Itโs literally exactly the same, except that the dice and I are the computer.
Iโm not an executive at EA, tho, so none of my shit is done as live service and contains zero MTX. Iโm more like Valve and just operate on my own sweet time.
