IMO when major designers like that leave WotC they end up doing some really cool stuff. I’d be optimistic.

Yeah, this is the first time in two decades they’ll be out from under the umbrella of corporate bs. I expect they’ll do something cool with it.

On a scale of 0 (no clue what they are doing) to 10 (there is a master plan with a hundred steps), how strategic is Critical Role?
My guess would be around 3. This is mostly „seems like a cool idea, let’s do it“ without much of a plan.
