Absolutely. Americans, Israeli, Russians are all regular people caught in the crossfire. There are some shitheads in support of their governments, and there are plenty more of those who reject it and will happily join the opposing forces, uniting internationally over the same goal.
And outside of political lens, people are still the same as they were a year or two or three ago. It’s just that different political circumstances highlight particular kinds of people.

No, they don’t. Every poll for the last decade puts the total MAGA support in the mid- to high 30s. MAGA is a very small minority of the world, but the difference is that they are sociopaths, so they have no problems violating legal and social norms to get what they want, while everybody else wants to play by the rules. Bad Faith players always get a big lead near the beginning, but eventually the treason, corruption, and incompetence that is inherent in EVERY authoritarian regime, destroys them from within.
If we give them enough rope, they will eventually hang themselves with their own virtuosic incompetence. The problem is the massive damage they will do to America and the word before they get there.

How does an American pronounce it?
A vast majority of the Canadians I know pronounce it the same way as “out”, “sprout”, “trout” etc.
To me a standard American accent sounds like they’re replacing the OU with AW, “abawt”. Or maybe “abowt” if they pronounced it like the bow of a ship (not like a fancy knot or the weapon).

This is almost 100% a latin american thing. They’re taught that the americas are a single continent. For some reason they’re really stuck on this point as if it’s some kind of gotcha (it isn’t). Everyone (including them) are aware of what nation is being discussed when we say america/americans. They should just get over it.
I’m a fan of pointing out that we aren’t even the only United States in North America.

If he invades Canada, that will start WW3, he won’t do it. He is too busy destabilising his own country, and deporting people. Also, we have no nukes, compared to the u.s. having over +5,000.
I think we should up security checks for guns and drugs coming into Canada, but not search phones unless we have probable cause. We don’t have to stoop down to Donald Trump’s level.
