Nothing is stopping you from rolling initiative. Next time you’re out and about and see a potential combat situation, just roll to see if you can strike first. Make reality D&D.

I’m in the same boat. I also got rulebooks for Pathfinder 2E + Mutants and Masterminds in case I wanted to mix it up.

Now they all have a neat little spot on the shelf to collect dust.

I would play more rpgs on tha table but i havent had a real group in a while nor do i know anyone willing to play, ive looked but no luck.

I was in the same boat. Have you tried solo roleplaying? It’s not for everyone but I’m enjoying it a lot lately. Especially with the mythic gm emulator.

Eh, this can be hit or miss in my experience. Last time I attacked the blacksmith he turned into a dragon and ate me whole. Definitely don’t recommend that experience.

I know many furries that would pay extra for that.

There might be meetups near you doing games. There’s one here in NYC that’s very friendly I’ve been to.

I still buy maps and assets for my 0 campaigns. One day…

No im just lonely and dont like online games that much compared to in person.

There’s some online services that connect people. It’s really hit or miss, but could lead to a decent campaign for you.

I got roasted so hard by my last group when I tried to first time dm tyranny of dragons (to be fair, the first part of it is combat heavy and I didn’t handle it as well as I could have) and it triggered my anxiety about it so hard that I dropped from the group and havent played in 5 years

If it makes you feel better, I’ve been in this hobby nearly 30 years and I’ve had regular games for maybe 5 of them.

I meant like, PBTA or Daggerheart
