I’m like: Imagine everyone around you decided you were going to be married to an abusive spouse. You never agreed, yet sure enough, one day you woke up legally married to, and having to live in the same house with, a delusional, malignant narcissist abuser. No divorce possible, consent was never required after all. And if you tried to ask for help, your neighbors - who want you to know they absolutely hate abusers! - would spit at you and say, “Take care of your own problem!”

I agree, but the ability to strike in America was purposefully neutered. The only real way to strike effectively would be, at best, extra-legal, if not outright illegal. It’s not like most of the civilized world. The “leader of the free world” has made it very hard for the citizens to freely stand against it.

The only reason anybody ever had the right to legally strike was due to illegally striking. You’re not worse off than early 20th century trade unionists who literally fought private militias and the military. However, this is what ICE is going to be used for at this rate so y’all don’t have much time.
