If you're okay with them not being muppets, check out Dorkness Rising. Once they start playing, about 15 minutes in, the action bounces back between the players and the characters. It's old but still works.

Dorkness Rising is their second movie, and it makes a lot of references and throwbacks to the first.

Or, you know, they value human life enough to actually get emotional instead of being clinical as hell.

I'm sorry but if I work somewhere and find out that a coworker nearly killed me after being politely told not to a half dozen times, I'm going to be furious. I'm going to become murderous if I then find out management were super polite and wore kid gloves about the dude nearly killing other people after they've been told a half dozen times that they're nearly killing people.

I agree that yelling shouldn't be the first thing but there is 100% a point in which case you deserve to be yelled at if you're ENDANGERING LIVES or you have repeatedly been told to stop wasting everyones time and money when you're out filming in the middle of the fuckin' desert.

Valuing manners over teaching someone a lesson so someone else doesn't get killed is never an argument you will successfully make with me. Just a reason for me to not trust you to do what needs to be done if all hell were to go loose.

        Okay?

I have worked on manufacturing floors and egregious safety violations are an immediately fireable offense. Minor violations get one or two serious talks followed by…. Once again, termination. Someone who can’t be bothered to follow safety protocols shouldn’t remain on the floor.

Yelling at people is not only a great way to make for a hostile workplace for everyone in the general vicinity, its also not a particularly effective way to deal with the problem.

You're assuming they haven't tried that road. Again and again and again.

Then they aren’t a good fit for the position. They need to be moved somewhere they are a better fit or terminated

As I said in another response, not only is yelling a great way to make the workplace hostile for everyone in the general vicinity but it’s also not a particularly effective way to deal with conflict

There are countless better methods to deal with a problem.

Pitch: a muppet movie where the muppets play D&D, and it cuts between the muppets around the table and the fantasy being acted out, but instead of it just being the muppets dressed up in D&D fantasy…

I couldn’t care less about this actor. Don’t even know who he is.

That said, yelling at people you work with is never appropriate man. That’s verbal abuse and “they screwed up” is not an excuse. As the power differential grows between two coworkers, it becomes even less acceptable.

Really stupid take, given context. I've seen people do shit that could kill their coworkers or bystanders. A good yelling at is the least that's deserved, sometimes.

P.s Stamets would be ashamed of your general aggressive demeanour towards people calling out toxic masculinity, and worship of shitty men

Well, first off, the opinion of someone who spreads gossip means absolutely nothing to me.

Second, I'm not aggressive towards people calling that out. I'm aggressive towards people who lie, spread false information, have no reputable sources for their claims but still insist that they be taken seriously and factually. I asked you at the start of this if you had proof of him being a douchebag or you just didn't like him. The correct answer to that was "I just don't like him." You do not have proof.

Third, if you're talking about the real Paul Stamets then I don't care about him. He is anti-union. Couldn't care less. If you're talking about the character, then you know literally nothing about the show as Stamets would have been more dismissive of you. If anything, I was more polite.

                    You should really sit down.

Can I ask - what's this about the filming conditions for Terminator Salvation requiring specific timing and being dangerous? This is the first I've heard of that.

That's on me. For some reason I remembered the yelling thing as being during a desert scene. There's another behind the scenes bit of trivia I'm just remembering about a scene elsewhere in the movie. Edited

I think you're trying to align the Muppets to what their personalities would be. Instead pick against type. Or as their off type. Gonzo has been the narrator in almost all the muppet versions of movies. So he'd be great at telling stories and winning over NPCs as a Bard.

Or how about Gonzo as the wizard who keeps getting KO'd in silly/pathetic ways, only he seems way too into it?
