No damn way dwarves aren’t cheeked up. They literally spend all day carrying heavy loads and mining. They’re just short and covered in gear so you aren’t blinded by their majesty

Dwarf women do have beards. They’re just… lower.

part of what i love about orcbarbies’ artstyle and worldbuilding. she makes hella spicy stuff, but it’s consistent within her world, and each race (primarily orcs and goblins) has its own unique gender characteristics. also they’re all hot as fuck.

i wouldn’t really describe the characters as androgynous, but they do stand outside traditional gender norms.

In my little project worldbuild, elves have 4 sexes (possibly six, a topic of intense scholarly debate).

Dwarves reproduce by carving a sculpture and imbuing it with a portion of their soul. It’s usually a collaborative effort, with most dwarves having three to five parents (though it’s not unheard of to have only one parent, and royalty often have hundreds). They generally mimic human sex characteristics, but it’s up to the sculptors and most dwarves don’t see it as crucial to their identity

I haven’t quite worked out orcs yet, but I’m leaning toward them living in eusocial tribes, largely inspired by naked mole rats

Orcs should reproduce asexually by releasing spores via their blood. So the more orcs fight (and the more orc blood is spilled) the more orcs will sprout from the ground.

That’s a really cool concept! But one of my design choices was to stick to D&D5e-compatible races in case I want to run a campaign in-world

So I needed in-world reasons why orcs and elves could hybridize with humans, but the other races couldn’t. For example, a human could participate in the creation of a dwarf, and it would contain part of their soul and be as much their child as its other parents’, but the result wouldn’t be a half-dwarf, it’d just be a dwarf 😃

Isn’t that basically how 40k Orcs do it?

It’s like Squirrel Girl. You think she has a massive badonkadonk. But it’s really just her tail stuffed into her pants.

That’s gotta be uncomfy as hecc. Any Squirrel Person worth their salt would probably have some furgonomics applied to their clothes to let that tail swing free.
