I was like "Hi! Can you tell me where to find safety pins?"
And he was like "That's a lovely outfit."
"...you're really cute..."
"Oh! uh, isle 2."
It kinda took me off guard, so I was just like "🤭 thaanks
" and then

I always feel weird about complimenting strangers. I want to acknowledge that they're looking good or whatever but, I don't want them to think I'm available. I know that I shouldn't worry about it so much though, because the times I DO speak my mind have all been good interactions.Anyway, store guy was right
