@TechConnectify It's fascinating to me that you're getting similarly hostile "reply guy" behaviour from the BlueSky Discover feed as you've been getting here, where there's no such feed.

I'm guessing the experiences are qualitatively different. But if not, it speaks volumes about how many people react to *anything* they don't expect to see in their feed.

@TechConnectify any thoughts on signing up for Nebula? It has a lot of YouTubers who got sick of the algorithm and it only lists videos in chronological order or a simple following page. There’s a lot of familiar faces you’d recognize as well like practical engineering, real engineering, wendover productions etc

but there is a similar feed here: the firehose of the live feed. it's not algo driven, but I think i am not the only one who uses it when their feed runs dry.

there i see much that tugs at my fingers for a response, though mostly, i restrain myself

@matt Yeah, but we know from just talking to people on here that most people have no idea the Local/Global feeds even exist.

I guess cranky haters may be trawling them, though.
