@joe @iwein @theleftistlawyer The Mother Bones post basically says the same thing that I do except for noting that this, very pedantic, hanging on a threshold of legality definition of "innocent" is the very basis of it.
The guy invading your home to kill you is "innocent".
I really don't know why this person replied the way they did. I get the same sense you do from it. They say no. That's fine. I've been misunderstood also.

Yes. This is what the law says.Of course, the law also says no one is above the law.
That all ended on July 1st 2024 when the Supreme Court of the United States granted one man total immunity from prosecution. A man who could then, in turn, pardon anyone he feels like.
The American Constitution cannot exist side by side with one man who stands above it all...

@clintruin @connynasch @theleftistlawyer If you can get enough people to vote, it becomes much much harder to rig. Which is all the more reason to encourage people who see what a mess Trump is making in the USA and have the ability to vote there to do so.
