@gvwilson not exactly. It's another industrial revolution. Do we really want people doing mundane, repetitive work that machines can do? Isn't there any better kind of work we can offer them?

@codinghorror @gvwilson But Gen AI is also being used to attempt to replace creative fulfilling work. Fed by the companies making it doing massive theft of other creative works.

It's really not the same as something like a loom that just assists in repetitive task to go faster.
