    The US president’s attempted Greenland grab has succeeded in turning Europeans solidly against his country, the pollster’s latest survey found. Large majorities in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Great Britain all declared an unfavourable opinion.

    The figures, ranging from 62% in France to 84% in Denmark – of which Greenland is a self-governing territory – mark a further steep rise in negative perceptions of the US since November, when the range was 49%-70%.

      @jonesmurphy

      Speaking as a German, we need to accept that the USA is our enemy.

      I mean, they want to turn over our government to the Nazis! It doesn't get much more hostile than that, short of an actual shooting war.

        @juergen_hubert Republicans are your enemies. In fact they are enemies of the USA itself. They are Nazis. They are very dangerous a$$holes.

          While true, the underlying problem is that even if Trump gets thrown out, the USA will remain unreliable. The Democrats won't do enough to undo the damage, and the USA could install another Trump-alike at any time.

          For decades, our foreign policy was built on the notion that the USA is a reliable partner. This is no longer the case. Thus, we must divest ourselves from US influence in any way possible.

            @juergen_hubert you are 100% correct. There's a LOT of covert Nazism among Democrats. It creates constant complicity and surrender to Republicans. It makes the USA an extremely unreliable ally even when Democrats are allegedly in charge.

              Plus, even when the Democrats are in charge, the TechBro oligarchs - who are mostly Nazis these days - will still end up determining US trade policy, which _will_ be to the detriment of European nations. They will just be _slightly_ more subtle about it
