I’m curious: What would you say is the hardest part about being a small, independent creator?
For me, it’s probably the fact that paid leave barely exists so even when you’re sick or exhausted af you power through in order to make ends meet.
(don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but there are downsides to everything)

@lindenshieldarts I would say the inevitable existential crisis every one or two months, especially when you were working before in big companies with a "good" wage. For instance this night, I dreamed about becoming an engineer again. Then I woke up, saw my currently in burnout engineer boyfriend and remembered why I left. Our liberty and independence comes with a lot of admin and money drawbacks but we have to try to keep it while we still can ^^

to this. Often I think about having to go back to a “classic” job and it almost instantly gives me panic attacks, lol but then again so do all the constantly changing rules for our business model. 🥲
