    Well, that's one tiny problem solved.

    For ages, I've been irritated that when translating from English into German, Google Translate doesn't allow you to specify whether you want the outcome to be formal or informal, e.g. Sie vs du.

    Today, I channeled my inner Shakespeare & used "thou" instead of "you" in my English prose & bingo, the German turned informal 🥳

    Works for French (vous vs tu) as well.

    Not that this is new – there are posts saying this dating back at least twelve years ... 🤷‍♂️
